Aftuh thankin' it ovah 'bout Wyomin' a bit. . .
It don't surprise me none that the powers that be structured the WY caucus the way 'tis. The forebears of today's Wyomin' money men - oil men - scratched a livin' from the ground as entrepeneurs from outta nowhere. They was po' befo' they became rich, and compared to the oil rich of the world, they still po'. They need elites such as Romney to hep 'em compete in th' world. Plus, they ain't got no cultural legacy in th' same way the Southrons do. They attachment to they land is mo' economical thin it is mystical or primordial.
To the politically disenfranchised of Wyomin', howevah, it's anothah story. To them - Wyomin's salt of the earth - there is much mo' of an attachment to the land and to the concepts of personal liberty and state sovereignty.
